Leighton Buzzard Day Centre Bunting
Collecting stories about the people featured on the bunting left at Leighton Buzzard Day Centre in Duncombe Drive
I've become the custodian of this wonderful bunting, made and displayed at the Leighton Buzzard Day Centre in its final days of opening.
It was created to celebrate the people who worked at the Day Centre over the years and I'm hoping to collect some more stories about them. I'd love to know what they did at the Day Centre and what they're up to now.
One of the things that I love about running Leighton Buzzard Local is that I get to hear so many amazing stories about the people who live in our town. When I saw this bunting had been left behind in the Day Centre, I knew that I needed to rescue it and find out the stories behind it.
I'll be at the Creative Buzz Market on Saturday 30th May to display the bunting and collect stories. Do come along and see it, have a chat and share any stories that you have!
Do you know someone who used to work at the Day Centre? Please get in touch and I can find out if they are on the bunting. I'm looking to collect as many stories about the people featured on it as possible.
