The Repair Cafe in Leighton Buzzard

Join me at the Repair Cafe in Leighton Buzzard - set up and run by Totally Leighton Buzzard

Every month on a Saturday, the Repiar Cafe pops up at the British Legion on West Street in Leighton Buzzard. You can have pretty much anything repaired at the Repair Cafe and you can register in advance for a slot to make sure that you know you'll be seen. Walk ins are also welcome.

They'll try and repair anything for you across mechanical, electrical, and textiles. There's even local Adam who specialises in fixing Christmas lights. If you register a slot in advance and they'll try and make sure that the volunteer who repairs, whatever it is you have to repair is actually there.

I had a couple of things that need to be looked at by somebody who knows about knitting, so I'll be registering to come back next month as they weren't among the textile volunteers this month. That's really not a bad thing, as it was a lovely place to hang out and I bumped into some people I know, it's a really buzzy spot on a Saturday!

Dr. Bike also attends the session sometimes. So you can book a slot to have your bike looked at as well.

And of course they do tea, coffee, and cake to keep you refreshed as well.

It's a great way to make sure that you can get even more use out of the things you have, so check it out and see if they can help you repair something you've had sitting around for a while rather than taking it to the tip!

Find out more and register to attend on their website here:
