
The Refill Leighton Buzzard - Dahl Mix Kit
I recently made dahl from this great recipe pack from The Refill in Leighton Buzzard.
The pack has measured out all the dry ingredients that you need to make the dahl as well as the spices that you're going to need to add. You also need some fresh ingredients, but these are all on the front so it's easy to get them together before you start cooking.
All you need to do is chop up your veg and onions, then add the dry ingredients and the spices to the mix as well and then cover and cook. I also added in some coconut milk just to make it really nice and creamy, I can't remember if that was on the recipe! And we sprinkled it with nooch to serve, which is also something we get from The Refill.
You can put it all in a slow cooker and there are instructions on how to do that on the front with the recipe. We have a pressure cooker and not a slow cooker so we used that instead.
The recipe is super simple and it's really easy to follow. It also makes 6-8 portions so it's perfect to make for dinner and have leftovers, or to batch cook for lunches throughout the week.
